Although there was not much opportunity to run on our own as most sessions were started behind an instructor. The group I joined had a great instructor and in the later sessions he challenged us to over taking where we could. I got by late on the brakes and round the outside going into turn one. He was not expecting that :-) The day was not ideal but it was perfect weather and just great to be back on a bike.One tricky part of the day was the very restrictive noise limit. Assen now sets a 88db limit for circuit days :-( Session 1, I came in with a healthy 91db. First time a warning next time you have to go home. Only solution was to change up early at the one point on the circuit where they check.
